We here at Blackhouse Limited are excited to announce the release of “Punching Down!,” a 200+ page collection of (almost) all previously unseen new and old works from Cody Lee Hardin, presented in a 9”x9” high-quality coffee-table art book complete with a matte finish.
Like his contemporaries among the underground indie art and comics world, his work holds true to the like-minded stylings of JJ Villard, Mike Diana, Johnny Ryan, Roy Tompkins, and more. As he maintains the same level of warped and culture-damaged approach we have come to love from their works, Hardin’s debut book release, “Punching Down!” holds its own and surely secures Hardin into the ranks among these legendary alternative and underground artists.
“Punching Down!” is now available for pre-order exclusively via the Blackhouse Webstore. With a limited first-print run of only 200 copies, all books will come hand-numbered. Also exclusive to the first printing, the first 100 pre-orders will receive an exclusive button pack and a 16”x20” poster print by the artist with the book, and the additional 50 pre-orders (after the first 100) will receive the poster print (no button pack).
