They feed on and own the depraved, and challenge the answers for it. Unapologetic in nature, It’s a grim place to originate, but someone’s gotta do it.
Prison Religion are beating back your worst fears with everything they’ve got, and there’s no clear sign of holding back what you need to hear. Let’s be honest, you WANT to hear it.
This is a project built ground-up from some of hip-hop’s most underground, most talented, and most brutally honest lyricists, FalsePrpht (VA), Poozy (VA), and Crimewave (WA). They collaborate to achieve what could be among the most dark, brutally honest and confrontational trap element with the most punked out approach we here at Blackhouse have ever heard.
Their newest full length project, “Cage With Mirrored Bars”, is THE album that you’ve been looking for. Playing in the darkest sound arena, it speaks volumes that will make you sick with a dose of reality that just might change your life, not to mention a punk rock sensibility that will make you always remember where you came from.
