Rot Monger is one seriously busy-as-hell outfit right out the gate in 2K16! Here’s the latest news with the RM crew:
FIRST: Test pressings have arrived for their new limited edition 12″ (and Blackhouse physical release debut), “Whiskey And Mushrooms”. It was decided that the entire run will be run on a variation of different colored vinyl, making each edition even more limited, so if you haven’t locked in your pre-order as of yet, NOW IS THE TIME, because these will not be run again. You can score your pre-order HERE.
SECOND: Their newest EP “Whiskey And Mushrooms”, AND their 9 minute opus of a collab singe with Slug † Christ, “Phantasm” are both readily available worldwide on virtually ALL major and secondary digital retailers as well as the Blackhouse Digital Store. While you wait for your pre-order, you can still check it out (or if you just want digital only).
THIRD: Drummer Ben Hall and Bassist Jason Ehrhart just did a drum and bass overdub cover of Slug † Christ’s “Herron” track from the “God Is Under The Porch Where The Dog Died” CD (Blackhouse)/Digital (Awful). It will be a full video that will be posted on Youtube as soon as it is all synced up, but until then you can check out the audio version as a sneak peek. It is off the fucking chain and you can WATCH IT HERE.
FOURTH: They have a rager of a show coming up on Saturday, January 16th in their hometown of Spokane, WA with Traitors and Enterprise Earth. Flier with details are below, and you can also check out more info at the Monumental Shows website.
